Mummies Alive! Is an American series by DIC Entertainment. It originally aired for one season.
In Egypt, an evil sorcerer called Scarab, kills the pharaoh's son so he could become immortal. Entombed living Scarab revives from the world that is modern and begins his hunt for Rapses' reincarnation, a San Francisco-dwelling boy called Presley Carnovan to regain the spirit of Rapses' so he could become immortal. Rapses' bodyguards,'' Ja-Kal Armon, also Nefer-Tina, Together with Rapses' kitty, Kahti, awake from the dead to protect him out of Scarab. They utilize Ra's ability to transform to powerful guardians.
Each of the mummies is aligned with the ability of the Egyptian god. Ja-Kal uses the spirit of falcon, Rath uses the spirit of snake, so Armon uses the spirit of ram, also Nefer-Tina uses the spirit of kitty. They are able to call up on it for powers and magical armor to fight superhuman evildoers. Although their strength is exhausted, they must rest inside their sarcophagi. To be able to get into the powers, the mummies telephone out the expression"With the effectiveness of Ra!" , which causes their transformation. The mummies have the power to make a face utilised to scare off nosy bystanders.
