The Pit and the Pendulum

Set during the height of Spanish Inquisition. The gorgeous and kind-hearted Maria is detained as a witch when she cries in horror at the whipping of a child. As Maria's husband Antonio tries to rescue , the Grand Inquisitor, Torquemada, determines to penalize Maria with torture. Loosely based on Edgar Allen Poe short story.
