Far and Away

A young man leaves Ireland with his spouse daughter after a trouble with her father, and they dream of owning land at the huge plantations in Oklahoma ca. 1893. If they reach the new landthey find jobs and start spending less. The person becomes a local bare hands boxer, and rides in glory until he's defeated, subsequently his companies steal all the couple's money plus they have to fight starvation in the winter, and try to maintain their dream of owning land living. Meanwhile, the girl's parents have come to America to get her and take her back and find out where she has gone.
